MarkBradley

 

Mark Bradley founded Players Network in 1993 and has served as its Chairman and CEO since its inception. Under his direction, Players Network became the first user of a digital broadcast system for television programming, and the first private label gaming network.

Bradley has been a producer/director at United Artists, and was studio manager and postproduction supervisor with United Cable Television in Los Angeles. In this capacity he engaged in the production, packaging and syndication of television and film productions for such media venues as HBO, Nickelodeon, Prime Ticket and MTV. As an independent producer/director, Bradley created and promoted live pay-per-view events, negotiated entertainment programming distribution deals, budgeted and packaged TV programming. In 1985, Mr. Bradley created the Real Estate Broadcast Network, which was credited as being the first 24-hour real estate channel.

Bradley has been driving force behind the elevation of Players Network from in-room channel to national cable network, taking the company public in 1998, raising the money needed to grow its infrastructure and library, overseeing the creative vision and business growth opportunities of the company.

 


 

MikeBerk

 

Michael Berk is a well-known writer, producer and director with over three hundred hours of television production to his credit. Berk created and Executive Produced “Baywatch,” the most popular series in television history, and is currently producing a large-budget “Baywatch” feature film for Paramount with Ivan Reitman directing. Berk wrote and produced the first three-hour movie ever made for television, "The Incredible Journey of Dr. Meg Laurel," the highest-rated movie of the year, averaging a 42 share over three hours, "The Ordeal of Dr Mudd," another three-hour movie that received a Golden Globe Nomination as Best Picture and two Emmy Awards, "The Haunting Passion," winner of the Venice Film Festival Award, “The Last Song," recipient of the Edgar Allan Poe Award for Mystery Writing, and a dozen other movies.

Berk is also a significant figure in the Las Vegas community. He was a founding Board Member and President of the highly acclaimed “CineVegas” Film Festival, now in its eleventh year at the Palms Hotel. He was recognized with the prestigious Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Community Achievement Award in the category of Entertainment, with the Nevada Film Office/Las Vegas Film Critics Society “Silver Spike Award” for his contributions to the film industry in Nevada, and has received more than a dozen Senatorial, Gubernatorial, and Mayoral Commendations and Proclamations in Nevada and Las Vegas.

Jenna Bodnar Bodnar has an extensive media and legal background, making her uniquely qualified to structure both production and business opportunities in a fiscally sound manner, while maintaining creative integrity.
Bodnar’s media experience includes seven years of experience in major film and television markets, such as HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, and Playboy, as on-camera talent, and later worked as an assistant producer, producer, and director for various independent and televised programs. Additionally, Bodnar is an award-winning photographer published in national and international magazines for over a decade.
Graduating Cum Laude with a B.A. degree from UNLV in Mass Communications, with emphasis’ in broadcast journalism and advertising, Bodnar has used her skills in the media arena, as well as the private sector, developing and marketing start-up companies for individual investors.
In the legal realm, Bodnar earned her Juris Doctorate at the William S. Boyd School of Law, UNLV, and worked in a multitude of legal and corporate environments, handling contracts, research, and negotiations. Through her work in the civil rights arena, Bodnar’s work has been cited in a landmark Massachusetts Supreme Court decision and published in print news media; she has also been interviewed on syndicated radio as a legal expert in this field.

Leslie Thomas earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2005. After graduating she moved to Las Vegas to become a member of the Players Network team. With her administrative and technical skill, Thomas quickly became acquainted with the company’s internal operations and assumed management of Players Network’s extensive video library and media distribution. Thomas works directly with major media outlets, including: Comcast Communications, DirecTV, AT&T, Verizon, and TivoCast as well as multiple broadband sites. As the Marketing and Operations Manager, Thomas is integral to the end product and viewer experience, overseeing coordination between post-production, content selection, and distribution priorities.

John J. English has served as Las Vegas Gaming, Inc’s Senior Vice President of Creative and Business Development since 2004. His duties include sports, race, and poker as well as alternative content development. From 1983-1990, Mr. English was the President of Lottery Division of Winners Award Center. In 1990, Mr. English co-founded Pinpoint Direct Incorporated, which became one of the largest direct mail sweepstakes and gaming providers in the world. In 1998, Mr. English founded Multimedia Enterprises, which produced innovative gaming content, and Mailworks International, which provided printing and production services. These companies maintained distribution offices in Nevada, Arizona, California, New York, Canada, and Holland. In 2000 Mr. English created Sports Bet Xpress, the first ever Nevada Gaming Control Board approved remote sports wagering system for bars, taverns and restaurants. Subsequently, Mr. English co-created Gamblers Bonus Million Dollar Ticket, the first million dollar jackpot game to be distributed to restricted gaming locations. Mr. English has created successful partnering ventures with United Coin Machine Company, American Wagering, Inc., VirtGame Corporation, Chan Poker, Harrah’s Entertainment, and MGM Mirage.

Leonard J. Parisi currently serves as Senior Vice President, and partner of Maxim Group LLC, a privately held financial services firm specializing in investment banking, equity research & private wealth management. Maxim Group is also registered as a broker-dealer with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and is a member of the following: Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA); Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB); Securities Insurance Protection Corporation (SIPC); International Securities Exchange (ISE); NASDAQ Stock Market; and NYSE Arca, Inc. Mr. Parisi has been in the financial services sector for 15 years, working for firms such as Paine Webber, Barington Capital, Josephthal, and Investec Ernst & Co. Mr. Parisi graduated Rutgers University with a BS in Finance, and has a MBA in Financial Management from Southern California University. Mr. Parisi currently holds licenses in Series 7, 63, 65 and both his life and health insurance licenses.

Doug Miller As CEO/COO/CFO of more than a dozen companies in a wide range of industries, Mr. Miller brings over thirty years of hands-on operating experience to the Players Network Board. Focusing on high growth start-up and turnaround companies, Mr. Miller participated in leading four companies to IPO´s. For eight years prior to his retirement in 2008, Mr. Miller served as President and COO of WinningEdge International, Inc., a publicly traded Las Vegas based sports and gaming entertainment company that he co-founded. In addition to his managerial responsibilities, Mr. Miller also served as Executive Producer of ´The Winning Edge´ television and radio programs. Mr. Miller divides his time between homes in Las Vegas and Panama, traveling, writing, and consulting with start-up and high growth companies. He holds a B.A. from the University of Nebraska and an MBA from Stanford University.
